Scholarship
The Outreach Scholarship is sponsored by the SQA Board of Directors for the 27th SQA Annual Meeting. The scholarship shall be provided to a registered Outreach Member and shall include waiver of all training and meeting registration fees, a complimentary ticket for the off-site event and up to 6 nights complimentary hotel room. SQA shall also provide up to $2,000 for travel and meal expense reimbursement (receipts required). Applications shall be accepted every year, but the SQA Board of Directors may decide to defer the scholarship until the next year if the number and/or quality of applications received are deemed insufficient.
The selection criteria are as follows:
Applicant shall be an Outreach member of SQA;
Self nominations shall be accepted;
Application shall be submitted in written form, and shall include a letter specifying the name of the scholarship for which the individual is applying, the reason for the application and what is hoped to be gained by participation in the Annual Meeting. The application and letter must be accompanied by a current curriculum vitae.
